BVSS 7 October 2017

I was requested by one of our top players to not write anything about the team because we lost. So, I'll focus on the Yellow team.

Mann
29 San
Yee
Kenny
Justin
Adil
Adil's friend(orange)
Adil's friend(green)
Daniel(our player)

The Yellows won 5-3.

Mann, for his age, is a top keeper. He is better than me. Always smiling, happy with his life.

29 San, our Chairman, is an excellent defender. Very difficult to dispossess him. Knows who to pass the ball. Doesn't like players who dribble too much.

Yee, God this man is a master of twisting and turning. He runs diagonally and none of us can stop him.

Kenny is waiting for his overhead goal. This man's positioning is that good. Look at his runs when not with the ball. He ghosts past us, we don't even see. With close control of the ball.

Justin completes the 4 Horsemen of Kenny, Yee and 29 San. This man just shimmies past you. Then pass like a professional.

Adil is actually a really good player. He can chip the ball from distance. There was once he scored 5 from right-back position. If he can get into shape, he might be playing for an S-League club. His dad sure will enter him to Home United.

Adil's friend in orange scored 2. A good dribbler. With experience he may be better.

Adil's friend in green sealed the deal with the 5th goal. Also fast. Young and with more games, could help our local football.

Daniel, was asked to play for them, did well. With the 2nd goal a beatdown thumper.

Here are the sequence of goals:

Yellows 1(Adil's friend(orange) Blacks 0
Yellows 1 Blacks 1(Faizal)
Yellows 2(Daniel) Blacks 1

Half-time

Yellows 2 Blacks 2(Samuel)
Yellows 2 Blacks 3(Samuel)
Yellows 3(Adil's friend(orange) pen) Blacks 3
Yellows 4(Kenny) Blacks 3
Yellows 5(Adil's friend(green)) Blacks 3

MAN OF THE MATCH: YEE AND 29 SAN. BOTH THIS MEN CAN REALLY PLAY FOOTBALL. ITS SO DIFFICULT TO PRISE THE BALL FROM THEM.

1 comment:

  1. My assesstment for the Blacks.Few things we need to improve.
    1) Be patient n calm
    2) Hold possesion, not to geve away the ball cheaply.
    3) Learn to play short passes
    4) Tactically discipline. Only overlap when necessary as it will create loopholes when opponent counter
    5) stay compact when defending. Forget the outer man. Open up when attacking.
