Buangkok FC 5(Nicholas 2, David, Keith, Shyong Ming) Our Malay Guys and Friends 4

This was a huge test for us. Winston, Zul and Zul's brother played for them. 2 new Chinese boys played for them too.

This is Buangkok FC's starting XI yesterday...

GK - Tang Yao

RB - Nazri
CD - Kang Xiang
CD - Shyong Ming
CD - Keith

DM - Johan
CM - Alex
CM - Q-S
CM - Nicholas

AM - David

ST - Ah San

We got to a comfortable 2-0 lead through Nicholas and David. They equalized to make it 2-2. Then I got injured and rolled off. One of them was injured too in his first match. David made it 3-2. They came back again with two quick goals in succession. They were leading 4-3. I was behaving like a true player-manager finally. Cheering and giving orders from the sidelines. Shyong Ming decided to go all-out attack mode and stunned them with the winner.

We won 5-4.

Kudos to Tang Yao. His 2nd coming with us he was willing to be drenched in mud just to save shots. Kang Xiang again marshalling the defence well. Shyong Ming another great performance in defence. Nazri came back and fitted in at right-back. Keith's goal is the turning point to release his buddy Shyong Ming to score.

Johan doubling up and did quite ok as defensive midfield. Alex was there winning balls from guys bigger than him. Q-S is just there to distract the opponents. Nicholas scored twice. One of our mainstay. David's goal was essential. Ah San with vast experience spreading play.

We did well. Our future as a football team looks bright.

MAN OF THE MATCH: Shyong Ming. A true ball-winner. One of the core members. With him in defence, we can beat any team.

Buangkok FC Training 11 October 2014

We played 2 matches. The first one is the appetizer. The next is the main course...

Team A

CD - Chinese Uncle
CD - Kang Xiang
CD - Javier
CD - Xavier
CD - Johan
CM - Nicholas
RW - David
ST - Ah San

Team B

GK - Tang Yao
CD - Keith
CD - Shyong Ming
CM - Alex
CM - Uncle Justin
LW - Q-S
RW - Zul
AM - Winston

Team A were whitewashed from the start. Q-S, Alex and Winston placed Team B to a 3-0 lead. For Team A, Chinese Uncle had his first full match. Kang Xiang did quite ok in defence. Xavier protected the back. Javier again moving forward from defence. Johan stayed behind. Nicholas controlling the midfield. David rampaging down the right. Ah San chose to play striker.

Team A came back to make the scoreline 3-2.

Team B did extremely well. Tang Yao saving many shots. Keith and Shyong Ming were in the same Polytechnic. They defended like tag team champions. Alex with his masterful passes is the one that kept Team B going. Uncle Justin really marshalled the midfield well. Q-S, oh my God, who is the one responsible for his rejuvenation? Zul taking on all comers in the other flank. Winston again a major improvement.

The match was at 5-2 to Team B. We decided to continue and final score is...

Team B 7 Team A 4

MAN OF THE MATCH(under Uncle Ah San's recommendation): Q-S.

Here are those who attended...

Q-S

Shyong Ming
Keith
David
Ah San
Ah San's son
Javier
Xavier
Daniel
Uncle Justin
Jeff
Nicholas

Winston

Did I left anyone out?

The first match is best forgotten.

The second match with the big guns arriving. I was in the team that lost 5-1. Very frustrating when nobody wants to play striker. And when there is a striker, he doesn't know positioning.

The third match I was resigned as keeper. The team that I'm in were about to lose trailing 4-2. I switched to left-mid. Troops were rallied and we won 5-4.

Is Q-S best at...

*Goalkeeper
*Centre defence
*Left-mid

MAN OF THE MATCH: UNCLE JUSTIN. Look at how he evaded the opponents. Knows when to release the ball to a teammate in better position. This man is intelligent. Burying his past and change for the better.
