The worst thrashing ever on The Blacks. 7-1.

Its like Germany against Brazil at World Cup 2014 semi-finals. Germany won with the same scoreline.

What excuses are the Blacks going to give? That we never played before on this pitch? One of our best Kang Xiang not playing? We were outplayed on a very wet ground?

How can this team sheet lose?

Kang Xiang's absence was really felt. There's no defender who command the central area. Shyong Ming is the only defence we had. It was nightmare for me. Adil and his very talented footballing friends scored past me from distance. Maybe if Wee Zheng is there, he can jog around and the opponents find it a little difficult to pass.

Every time I see their keeper Mann save shots after shots, my heart sank. This man has vast experience. I am only playing keeper because I am not good at outfield. Our boss 29 San was there to totally prevent us from scoring.

I couldn't count how many friends Adil brought along. They all combined well to hand us our biggest defeat. They are running on both flanks. Shooting just outside the penalty area. We have no defenders except Shyong Ming. The people who came and feel sorry for me may say I didn't give up and still produce saves. 5 or 6 saves against 7 conceded is a very poor statistic.

Ok. How many of Adil's friends had attended our Saturday football? Ahraf, Aqil. The other 2? And there are more who didn't came.

Kenny should not be given space to shoot. This guy's placing is impeccable. So what if I save his shots? He would just shoot twice and scored anyways.

Nobody can stop Yee when he has the ball. Only a red card challenge may. None of us are that stupid to try.

Leong was in attacking position.

Kelvin playing striker had a few shots.

Danny, our chairman, saw plenty of mud on my jersey and pants. Praising me for effort but the fact was we lost.

His son JJ, had a goal disallowed.

The Blacks's man of the match is Alex. Running all around to win balls and distribute.

Afiq and his friend had shots off target.

David scored a consolation for us. Improving his every goal per game ratio.

Nicholas did good but The Blacks are not playing well.

That guy in purple went to left-back. He is needed in the centre.

MAN OF THE MATCH: ADIL AND HIS 4 FRIENDS. THEY STOLE THE SHOW TODAY WITH THEIR FLAMBOYANT BRAND OF FOOTBALL AND BEAUTIFUL GOALS. FAIZAL SHOULD BRING THEM ALL TO A FOOTBALL CLINIC CONDUCTED BY AN EX NATIONAL PLAYER. THAT PLAYER WILL DECIDE IF THEY CAN PLAY FOR THE JUNIOR NATIONAL TEAM. THIS IS MY ADVICE FOR THEM IF THEY WANT TO BE NATIONAL PLAYER FAST.

I kept on saying 'shit!' when I let in a goal as goalkeeper. Disappointed with myself.

We originally planed for field football at Bishan Park. But the rain was heavy. So we switched to The Cage at Kovan. Thanks to Wee Zheng who booked and paid with his money.

David Teo is a striker. 2 goals to finish the game in our favor.

We should prepare 4 black jerseys with names and numbers for Elton, Wayne, Samuel and Teck Huat. Alex had assembled a formidable quartet.

Justin playing today made a difference to the Yellows.

Those talented young boys Faizal brought along did the damage on us again. A new one with the long pants scored 2 past me.

This is what I suggest for a tastier 5pm-7pm at BVSS. A 3-team matches. The Blacks, The Yellows and Faizal's young boys. 15 minutes each half. The 3 teams play each other. 3 matches. Blacks vs Yellows. Yellows vs Faizal's boys. Blacks vs Faizal's boys. Win = 3 points Draw = 1 point.

Here are the report cards:

Alex: A maestro at any football arena. Field, street, cage. He adapts to all of them. He thrives when playing with teammates he considers friends. Which explains why he is not getting enough play time in school. Today, he shows his technical football skills just like any other day. A+

David: This guy is a finisher. Not like his Liverpool idols. More like Diego Costa. He should know his best position on the field is striker. Though he can defend well, his powerful shots are needed to put any game to rest. A+

Kang Xiang: Take it from me. The reason why we won matches is <<< this guy. When we win a match with scorelines 7-6 or 10-9, is it the keeper with the saves? The attackers scoring plenty of goals? No sir. Its Kang Xiang running with his very fit status blocking opponents from scoring. You see the way he slices off opponents from the balls. This guy brings ball-winning to a whole new dimension. A+

Wee Zheng: Surprisingly played better when I have to play for the opponents. B

Q-S: I played goalkeeper for the other team throughout. No once in a blue moon specialty from me today. C+

Tang Yao: Established keeper. I cannot replicate his form on the field even on my best day. A-
