The Blacks went ahead 3-0 and were slick. The Yellows narrowed to 3-1. Then the Blacks went further with 4-1. Before The Yellows made it 4-3. Half-Time.

Another tweak of tactics and formation by The Blacks. A 3-3-0. No striker. So the midfield is nullified.

It took around 10 minutes in the 2nd half for us to score. The Blacks with a lot of goals to extend 7-4. The Yellows just went on. 9-5. Then 10-6. It ends 10-7.

The Blacks won 10-7.

Nicholas doesn't care about health. But he plays really that good football. Kang Xiang, playing in the centre of defence, is a core and important part of The Blacks. Daniel has found his best role as an overlapping right-back.

Alex again and again controlling the whole movement of us. David is a dangerous striker, you bet on him scoring, and he does it.

For the Yellows, I've seen our head honcho 29 San play defender and striker. But today, he also can play goalkeeper. He makes coffee better than 3-in-1? I'd like to taste. Kelvin linking up with The Yellows well again. Kenny had so many shots on target, if he had scored all, The Blacks lose. Alex's clique Elton has the techniques. So as Wayne who was wearing spectacles? That's risky man.

Wee Zheng seems to coincide better with The Yellows. They pass the ball to him with a speed that is comfort for him. Yee, placed in dangerous crosses.

This is one of our most entertaining match for the year 2017. 7-a-side so there tend to be plenty of merciless goals.

The Yellows are a dangerous unit who know each other since a whole long time ago. Before the influx of the talented Adil and friends, these seniors had made The Blacks play with misery.

In the 1st half, The Yellows are already up by 3-0. With goals that are professional. We somehow narrowed it to 3-2. The Yellows ended the half leading 4-2.

What The Blacks discussed with each other during half-time, should be secret.

The Blacks are a total different unit in the 2nd half.

Both teams are taken to the limits. Wee Zheng upped his game at left-back. Kang Xiang reveled in his role as sweeper. Daniel is a breath of fresh air, running at the right-back. With vital crosses and even scored a perfect goal.

Alex was covering every space. Taking on The Yellows in one-on-ones. Scored goals from distance. This man is the total package.

Chubby Nicholas compliment Alex well. Our form and shape look good. The 2nd half was a flurry of goals. They hit us, we hit them back. We are not being fast. Its more like European football.

David's free-kick was world-class.

The Yellows's 4 Horsemen of 29 San, Yee, Justin and Kenny again gave us The Blacks problems. They are intelligent. The way they play is about technical and precision.

Leong is again in an attacking role. Kelvin is also crossing the ball quite accurately.

Danny is brave as goalkeeper.

The new guy scored the last kick of the ball to make it 6-4.

Final Score: 6-4. Blacks won.

Wayne using his bulky size to win balls is what we are lacking through the years. That is bullying the opponents.

Daniel is found most comfortable at right-wing. A sprinter, he should play on the flank.

MAN OF THE MATCH: TECK HUAT. THOSE GOALS ARE SHOTS OF A MARKSMAN. IF ONLY THESE THREE BUDDIES PLAYED IN THAT 7-1 LOSS, IT WOULD TURN OUT VERY DIFFERENT. THEY HAVE TO BE PERMANENT.

The worst thrashing ever on The Blacks. 7-1.

Its like Germany against Brazil at World Cup 2014 semi-finals. Germany won with the same scoreline.

What excuses are the Blacks going to give? That we never played before on this pitch? One of our best Kang Xiang not playing? We were outplayed on a very wet ground?

Kang Xiang's absence was really felt. There's no defender who command the central area. Shyong Ming is the only defence we had. It was nightmare for me. Adil and his very talented footballing friends scored past me from distance. Maybe if Wee Zheng is there, he can jog around and the opponents find it a little difficult to pass.

Every time I see their keeper Mann save shots after shots, my heart sank. This man has vast experience. I am only playing keeper because I am not good at outfield. Our boss 29 San was there to totally prevent us from scoring.

I couldn't count how many friends Adil brought along. They all combined well to hand us our biggest defeat. They are running on both flanks. Shooting just outside the penalty area. We have no defenders except Shyong Ming. The people who came and feel sorry for me may say I didn't give up and still produce saves. 5 or 6 saves against 7 conceded is a very poor statistic.

Ok. How many of Adil's friends had attended our Saturday football? Ahraf, Aqil. The other 2? And there are more who didn't came.

Kenny should not be given space to shoot. This guy's placing is impeccable. So what if I save his shots? He would just shoot twice and scored anyways.

Nobody can stop Yee when he has the ball. Only a red card challenge may. None of us are that stupid to try.

Leong was in attacking position.

Kelvin playing striker had a few shots.

Danny, our chairman, saw plenty of mud on my jersey and pants. Praising me for effort but the fact was we lost.

His son JJ, had a goal disallowed.

The Blacks's man of the match is Alex. Running all around to win balls and distribute.

Afiq and his friend had shots off target.

David scored a consolation for us. Improving his every goal per game ratio.

Nicholas did good but The Blacks are not playing well.

That guy in purple went to left-back. He is needed in the centre.

MAN OF THE MATCH: ADIL AND HIS 4 FRIENDS. THEY STOLE THE SHOW TODAY WITH THEIR FLAMBOYANT BRAND OF FOOTBALL AND BEAUTIFUL GOALS. FAIZAL SHOULD BRING THEM ALL TO A FOOTBALL CLINIC CONDUCTED BY AN EX NATIONAL PLAYER. THAT PLAYER WILL DECIDE IF THEY CAN PLAY FOR THE JUNIOR NATIONAL TEAM. THIS IS MY ADVICE FOR THEM IF THEY WANT TO BE NATIONAL PLAYER FAST.

We originally planed for field football at Bishan Park. But the rain was heavy. So we switched to The Cage at Kovan. Thanks to Wee Zheng who booked and paid with his money.

Justin playing today made a difference to the Yellows.

Those talented young boys Faizal brought along did the damage on us again. A new one with the long pants scored 2 past me.

This is what I suggest for a tastier 5pm-7pm at BVSS. A 3-team matches. The Blacks, The Yellows and Faizal's young boys. 15 minutes each half. The 3 teams play each other. 3 matches. Blacks vs Yellows. Yellows vs Faizal's boys. Blacks vs Faizal's boys. Win = 3 points Draw = 1 point.

Alex: A maestro at any football arena. Field, street, cage. He adapts to all of them. He thrives when playing with teammates he considers friends. Which explains why he is not getting enough play time in school. Today, he shows his technical football skills just like any other day. A+

David: This guy is a finisher. Not like his Liverpool idols. More like Diego Costa. He should know his best position on the field is striker. Though he can defend well, his powerful shots are needed to put any game to rest. A+

Kang Xiang: Take it from me. The reason why we won matches is <<< this guy. When we win a match with scorelines 7-6 or 10-9, is it the keeper with the saves? The attackers scoring plenty of goals? No sir. Its Kang Xiang running with his very fit status blocking opponents from scoring. You see the way he slices off opponents from the balls. This guy brings ball-winning to a whole new dimension. A+

Wee Zheng: Surprisingly played better when I have to play for the opponents. B

Q-S: I played goalkeeper for the other team throughout. No once in a blue moon specialty from me today. C+

Q-S had a crap game as goalkeeper. After I swapped with Shyong Ming when we were 2-0 down, I let in a goal which was supposed to be a through pass by the opponents. Then their Kenny made it 4-1. Alex's tough reinforcements Teck Huat and Elton didn't gave up. Their combo helped us to narrow the Yellows's lead to 4-3. Then its HT.

Adil and his 3 friends do have understanding between them. Haziq was doing damage on their right-wing. He is difficult to stop. David, Nicholas and Kang Xiang was there to maim him. They have the 4 Horsemen of 29 San, Yee, Kenny and Justin. Justin, absent for today, is a huge factor to us winning. This foursome of Adil, Haziq, Aqil and Ahraf are dangerous. And there are more of them who did not attend. Mann, was doing well as keeper. Yee marshalling the defence. Kenny, with those potshots. Kelvin made a rare appearince playing striker then defending good. Safie, free for today, is using his bulky size to win balls. Our chairman 29 San is class. He actually can shoot with his feet but seldom show it. One shot hit the upright which had me completely beaten.

Faizal's goal was beautiful. A dipper.

David, Nicholas and Kang Xiang are no-nonsense defenders. If not for them, we would be thrashed by Adil's quartet. Wee Zheng, who doesn't want to be called Richard, needs to just win the ball and pass it to the nearest teammate.

If Shyong Ming were to play defence, is our chances of winning higher and lesser goal conceded?

MAN OF THE MATCH: ADIL. THIS GUY WANTS TO WIN EVERY BALL. HE WAS PHYSICALLY HURT WHEN GIVING FULL EFFORT OF SEIZING THE BALL. HE DESERVES THIS HUMBLE AWARD FOR TODAY.

The first half was evenly matched. The Blacks took the lead through the Boy in purple. A flighted free-kick that went to the top-left corner. Lets ask him which number he wants and give him a jersey.

We added a 2nd through Daniel. He was told to play right-back. But he defies what people tell him to, went attacking on the right-flank and scored. 2-0.

Jack pulled one back for the Yellows. 2-1. That's the first-half.

In the 2nd half, The Yellows had one-man extra. They looked to take advantage of it. 29 San, our boss of bosses, eqalized to make it 2-2. Then, Leong, ran through the middle and nabbed one. The Yellows are in the lead 3-2!

Shyong Ming had enough being goalkeeper and swapped.

The Blacks are known to come back from behind. Alex thumped another to equalize 3-3.

Kang Xiang, David and Nicholas are defending with full-effort. Look at David. Absolutely no mercy. Nicholas was hammering the ball away to safety.

Afiq scored to place us ahead 4-3. Afiq scored again to place us ahead 5-3.

The Yellows are certainly not happy. The game was supposed to be over but they extended a few minutes after 6 50pm.

Madnur is goalkeeper for The Yellows in the 2nd half.

Yee, Justin and Kenny are super dangerous. We have seen every Saturday what they can really do. I asked for man-marking on each of them. But we decided to do zonal-marking. Justin and Kenny were shooting at sight when we are ahead 4-3. The one who subbed with Shyong Ming did a pretty good job.

The Yellows had unearthed a right-winger with the boy in gold jersey. We need a left-back to nullify him.

Adil is using his brains and passing to the right teammate. He too was denied by this keeper.

How did the Blacks came back from behind? Afiq, given the chance, finished it off coolly as a striker. Give him a black shirt with number.

Richard has good attendance. Keep it up.

Faizal is one of the coaches for Home United. No, we are very not ready for any Home United team. Not even under-12.

Mann, for his age, is a top keeper. He is better than me. Always smiling, happy with his life.

29 San, our Chairman, is an excellent defender. Very difficult to dispossess him. Knows who to pass the ball. Doesn't like players who dribble too much.

Yee, God this man is a master of twisting and turning. He runs diagonally and none of us can stop him.

Kenny is waiting for his overhead goal. This man's positioning is that good. Look at his runs when not with the ball. He ghosts past us, we don't even see. With close control of the ball.

Justin completes the 4 Horsemen of Kenny, Yee and 29 San. This man just shimmies past you. Then pass like a professional.

Adil is actually a really good player. He can chip the ball from distance. There was once he scored 5 from right-back position. If he can get into shape, he might be playing for an S-League club. His dad sure will enter him to Home United.

Adil's friend in orange scored 2. A good dribbler. With experience he may be better.

Adil's friend in green sealed the deal with the 5th goal. Also fast. Young and with more games, could help our local football.

Daniel, was asked to play for them, did well. With the 2nd goal a beatdown thumper.

We are made to look like fools by a boy who made his first appearance. What excuses are we going to give? That we know nothing about his strengths and weaknesses?

His name is Afiq. If he chooses to gloat with his friends how he scored 6 goals against Q-S and friends, I wish him well. *ahem*

The 1st goal he scored, I was playing keeper, I came out but he slotted it in from the side. Then the 2nd in similar position. The 3rd was totally my fault. A professional keeper would have cleared with a header because the ball had not reached the penalty box. But I chose to wait for the ball to bounce. I should have known the BVSS ground is !&%@ with ball bounces. It reached kindly for him and he scored. His look is like he had won a golden pot. I know he is trying his best not to be like those before him. Excellent on his first match. Then the regulars had read him well.

Kang Xiang swapped with me as keeper. Even a better keeper can't prevent him. This boy scored 6. And we lost 6-2.

When the Yellows's 4 Horsemen are in tandem - 29 San, Kenny, Yee and Justin, the Blacks are made to look like dumbells. That guy with the ponytail is an expert defensive-mid. He knows who to pass.

Nicholas's goal for us was a beauty.

A major lesson we must learn - we really cannot anticipate the bounce of the ball on BVSS ground. Every ball in the air must be headed or clear.

Kang Xiang again defending with full effort week in, week out. Wee Zheng showed an improvement today. David increased his goal ratio. Alex dictating play. Nicholas an all-round midfielder. Faizal laying off balls. The two temp boys did good. The one wearing purple scored twice.

Kelvin also defending alongside Ronald. Yee is always dangerous with his diagonal runs. Kenny's attempt of overhead kick was admirable. Adil scored again. His friend hit a penalty spot on. I'm surprised this new guy returned. Leong planted another goal.

I feel Nicholas should play for us instead of #88.

The Blacks went ahead 1-0 through an own goal. Kenny equalized with a penalty. Safie placed the Yellows ahead 2-1. Half-time.

The Yellows extended their lead to 3-1. We cut it to 3-2. We neutralized it at 3-3. They went ahead 4-3. We clawed back again 4-4. Then we took the lead 5-4. They fought back 5-5. It was the How Meng show from then on. He placed us ahead 6-5 and 7-5. The Yellows grabbed a 6th goal. They tried to have an equalizer but final score we The Blacks won 7-6.

Kang Xiang and Shyong Ming again forge an understanding pair of central defenders. Wee Zheng passing slightly better now. David played more defensive today. Daniel also improved his game. #88 needs more games. I wonder Faizal's loyalty though he scored a goal. Alex, again, we no need to say, his play is for all to see.

For the Yellows, Kelvin had to play goalkeeper in the absence of Mann. Scored when playing outfield too. Ah San is again the master with all those controls of the ball. Ronald really stuck it in as defender. Its very difficult to play when Justin is in attendance on the field. Yee again twisting and turning very fast. Kenny is dangerous. Safie, playing like a rejuvenated man. Adil and his friend are both young. They may be professionals like How Meng when they become older. Jack is rolling back the years. Our Nicholas playing for them is a major issue. He should play for us.

We started the 1st half brightly. With Alex(who else) placing us in the lead 1-0. Then Leong(playing for us on this day), doubled our lead. 2-0. Alex, again, made it 3-0 with a belter from distance.

We fear of what The Yellows may do in the 2nd half. Leong made it 4-0. Then Nicholas with a deft flick to make it 5-0. We even extended to 6-0. The Yellows tried to come back. They made it 6-1 from Adil. Then 6-2 with an own goal by me. The goals came in one by one I lost count who scored.

David was injured and had to play goalkeeper. Shyong Ming's ball-winning tackles are superb. Kang Xiang again and again is a thorough defender. This guy who joins us once in a while, shows improvement. Wearing the #88 jersey, he ran all the way back and tackled an opponent. The returning Winston did an excellent comeback. With him in the team, we have higher chances of winning. Wee Zheng is passing the ball well. Better passing completion than previous matches. Alex, another top notch showing by the captain. Nicholas did a masterful showing in midfield. Faizal, as a centre-foward, laying off balls. Leong is the finisher.

Mann's decision to play outfield in the 2nd half is rewarded with 4 goals collectively by them. Kelvin is a defender who stay-back. Ronald knows to hold fort when defending. A rejuvenated Safie is playing with courage. Jack almost scored with a chip in the 1st half. The 3 new guys need more games to show what they can really do. Kenny is dangerous, how he evade his opponents without them realizing is a virtue. Adil is an all-round player at a young age.

The Yellows had an extra man. But we played anyway.

The 1st half, the Blacks are on the attack. Many shots saved by their super keeper Mann. Some went off-target. One of our trialist Samuel complained he's injured. He swapped keeper with me temporarily. On the right, Ah San slotted one past us. The Yellows were up 1-0. Their 4 Horsemen Ah San, Justin, Kenny and Yee are starting to show their groove. We fear 2nd half. As The Yellows always up their game after the HT break...

The Yellows shocked us with their 2nd goal. Samuel saved from their first shot but The Yellow's Kelvin capitalized on the rebound. 2-0. I thought to myself it may be another defeat. A goal by Teck Huat changed the course of the game. 2-1. I was beaten on pace by Adil's friend. Kang Xiang was giving his 100% as defender. Shyong Ming was tough as usual. Daniel did well as right-back. Wee Zheng was passing the ball smartly. Alex again the heart of the team. Wayne is a strong defensive midfielder. Faizal is a holding striker laying off balls.

Then David did his trademark run on the right and slammed one for the equalizer 2-2. The Yellows went on defensive counter-attacking mode. Like a wall in defence and swift as a bird when counter-attacking. Mann had a busy day with numerous saves as goalkeeper. I had to play keeper for The Blacks now and saved twice from Adil. Ronald was doing all his worth as defender. Safie wants to prove he still has it by defending too. Yee, a dangerous player, was twisting, running diagonal to initiate their counter-attack. Justin is finding holes in our midfield. (Thanks a lot for the transport Uncle Justin!) Kenny was damaging us with all those passes. Ah San was leading their counter-attacks, forcing Kang Xiang and Shyong Ming to run back as fast as they could. Leong wanted to score. Mann's friend with a few passes. Kelvin is finding positions to score another one.

Amidst all the battles that's happening, Alex has the ball in a packed midfield, found an acute angle and let one soar. It went in! The Blacks had taken the lead. 3-2!

That's the score. FT. It was a healthy match. We had to be on the move.

Wee Zheng scored 3 goals amazingly. But the highlight was when my teammates urged me to take a 'penalty'. A penalty from 5 meters with really small goalposts and Shyong Ming in the middle? With him cannot use his hands to save? I jogged a bit, ran and shoot. The ball rattled the cage.

The match ended 7-7.

Ah San was class again. Kenny scored a few too in the 2nd game. Alex did well. David was on the wings. Mann played outfield. Shyong Ming did a grounder from long-distance with a goal. Kelvin was happy to score. Yee is dangerous playing both matches with one-man-less team.

We were outnumbered by one. But that's not an excuse.

In the 1st half, we went up 2-0. They overturned it 3-2. Half ended.

As tradition, the Yellows fired up in the 2nd half. Their goalkeeper Mann saved many tame shots from us. Ah San was like an army general marshalling the defence. Ronald was there to stay behind and defend. Safie was playing left-back. Leong's friend, Naga, stay put at right-back. Andi was defending too. Overall, they had defenders who stayed back. Making us very difficult to attack. Which what we should do - defend. We need defenders who stay behind, don't go up too much.

Yee did severe damage on the right flank. This man can turn and twist leaving us rooted. Justin and Kenny are midfield experts. Masters of passing the ball. Kenny's scoring rate is excellent. And Leong is there to finish their subtle passes.

What went wrong for us?

We need a back 3 or back 4 that will stay put.

1st half we took the lead. But they were ahead 4-2 until half-time.

Again I did many saves as goalkeeper but all went to waste. Mann, their Malay keeper only joined us in a year. But he is a shrewd signing. For his age too.

Now lets compare our defence to their defence. Our Shyong Ming did very well but how too many goals went in? Because there's only SM. With KX having to play for the other team, we are exposed. The Yellows's Adil, in the right-back position, is very dangerous. We are fooled by his appearance. This boy scored 5 from RB position against us!

And their defence is bolstered by our head honcho Ah San! This man defies logic that smoking is bad for health. He is the most intelligent player among all of us.

Their midfield of Kenny and Uncle Justin are passmasters. They know how to pass the ball. Uncle Justin dig up holes in our midfield like an expert. Our midfield of Alex, Faizal, Nicholas, Wee Zheng and David should've dropped back. I won't tell names but a few misplaced passes led to a barage of goals. Ziming on the right-wing is brilliant for a kid. He should stop disappearing and play the whole match. Alex, Nicholas and David did their best but we underestimate their Adil on their right-back.

Keith should have played for us the whole match. He played for them, made the right choice and end up in the winning team.

What a turnaround 1 week made. After our biggest result of 15-4 last week, the Yellows turned the tables swiftly on us. With a convincing 11-5 over us.

1st half was a totally different issue. We were 2-0 down. Then I had to play goalkeeper. I did double-digit saves. But it wasn't enough in the end. At half-time it was 3-3.

Shyong Ming and Kang Xiang defended really well as always every Saturday. But I feel they should not move up too often.

David is needed as a striker. That's why SM and KX should hold fort. So that David won't have to drop back.

Alex doing well as our playmaker. Wee Zheng did running to add to his play. JJ on the wings. His father Danny did score one. Nicholas really stuck it in as a defensive mid.

For the yellow team, their goalkeeper is superb. Ah San again dictating play. Their #3 is still new to us. Yee with his turns is dangerous. Kenny was injured by Wee Zheng but he continued. Faizal, regained his young adult form, is a tormenter. Faizal's son is a wonderful right-back, chipping me again. Uncle Justin, I fear when he comes. This man is an all-round efficient midfielder. How did the national team failed to take him when he was younger. Leong scored a lot past us.

These men on this day. The us in black. Biggest scoreline ever against the golden Yellows.

When Alex asked me to play outfield and Shyong Ming instead as goalkeeper, I thought,"Oh no. Not a good idea." But it went through very well. I played full outfield which is rare.

We were 7-0 in the 1st half. They have Uncle Ah San, Kenny, Yee and...Don. But their attack were intercepted from time to time.

In the 2nd half, they managed to reply with 4 goals. But the boys in black increased our tally to 15. That's huge.

Shyong Ming coming out from keeper to outfield scored. Alex scored a couple. David continued his scoring streak. Even Wee Zheng did too. Keith the 2nd biggest scorer. Daniel? This dude scored a lot on this day.

Uncle Justin wasn't there for the Yellows. This man would have shredded us to pieces. Its almost impossible to disposess him or stop his passes.

Kang Xiang switching playing for the Yellows in the 2nd half was a turnaround. He scored 1st for them with a header.

Nicholas came late. But he stuck it in with bite. We need him.

We gathered at the lower court. Played 'tennis' football and 3-on-2.

Then we went to the upper court. There were 5 young boys. We decided to mix. Then more came. The us combined back as a unit.

First match we won 3-2. There were a few matches. And we won the majority. A couple of the young boys say to me,'Uncle, you are a good goalkeeper.' Oops, they didn't saw me play keeper in standard field. I am crap on field goalposts.

Alex again the master in street and field. David is a striker with killer goals. Kang Xiang's ball-winning skills is superb. Wee Zheng is fit and does not easily tire. Tang Yao was there as keeper too.

I personally say I am happy playing street soccer as keeper. But the rest of us prefer field.

The 1st half, the outstanding performer is Kang Xiang. This boy is a totally clinical defender. Saving this team for many, many years. The problem there is no striker. Offside is played. There should be a striker harassing the opponents' defence.

Then the 2nd half, our leader Ah San opened up the scoring. The green team made full use of their left flank. Their crosses were cut off by KX and Shyong Ming.

Then the 3rd half, I decided to play. Nothing much I did. Just block their right mid angle. Leong made it 2-0. Then Uncle Kenny increased our tally to 3-0. They did score a consolation goal.

The scoreline between the black team and the yellow team ended 8-8.

The yellow team took the lead when Leong breezed through the middle and shot past me. 1-0

Alex with a grounder and we are tied 1-1.

His little brother David made it 2-1.

Daniel tapped in 3-1.

Danny reduced our lead to 3-2.

Half time.

The yellow team showed their 2nd half fury every Saturday. With their Kenny equalizing 3-3.

Then Leong kicked the ball from my grasp and they took the lead 4-3.

One of us equalized 4-4.

Daniel who had to swap sides made it 5-4 for the yellow team.

An unbelievable chip by 12-year-old Ziming made it 5-5 for us.

We went ahead again 6-5.

The yellow team scored to make it 6-6.

The yellow team went ahead again 7-6 with an incident between Shyong Ming and Kang Xiang that I'd rather not say.

Shyong Ming, having to play keeper, did the unthinkable. Dribbling from one end of the pitch to another and slotted the equalizer 7-7

Alex thumped one in from yards away to place us in the lead 8-7. Which I thought was the winner...

I was defending with every last ounce of energy I had. Dispossesing Uncle Ah San and blocking Uncle Kenny's shot. But the guys in yellow equalized. The match ended 8-8.

Kang Xiang has always been our star defender. He is very difficult to beat in one-on-one situations.

Wee Zheng was passing the ball as usual.

David was like a warhorse running for the ball.

Nicholas is maintaining his excellent performance every Saturday.

The score was 2-1 in the yellow team's favour in the 1st half.

2nd half we were down by 4-1. There was a tactical change. Shyong Ming played keeper and I switched to outfield. The score changed dramatically to 5-4, then their lead increased to 7-4 and we equalized to end the match at 7-7.

Alex's last goal of the match proved decisive. Nobody won or lose. David chose to defend which was a smart move. Kang Xiang again bailed us out with his tackles. Shyong Ming is a truly core player for us. Nicholas playing really well too. Daniel scores goals that matters the scoreline. The new Malay guy just happy to be there. The uncle in orange can really play football. Leong also in the scoresheet.

The 2nd half were doom all over for us.

They scored 5 goals to make it 8-3. Shyong Ming scored his hat-trick to end the match 8-4.

Why we lost?

* I'm a crap keeper

* We don't have 2 defenders that will stay back

* We went all-out attack and get caught by the counter

* Uncle Justin played. Changed the entire course of the match. This man very rarely lose possession or misplaced pass

* Uncle Ah San's intelligence

* Uncle Kenny destroying us every Saturday at BVSS

* Their goalkeeper is much better than me

The team in black won. Empathic. 9-1. Can you believe I did not play keeper at all? It was David at first and then Shyong Ming.

Look at this line-up:

With this line-up, we went ahead 1-0 through Keith. Then Keith doubled the lead from the opposite flank 2-0. An unfortunate own goal placed us 2-1 down. Daniel made it 3-1. Alex thumped one in. 4-1 at HT.

The 2nd half was better for us. Nicholas with a belter 5-1. Then an own goal 6-1. Alex with another one 7-1. Keith with the 8th. And Daniel with a tap-in 9-1. We won 9-1.

The guys in yellow had Winston and Johan for a day. Uncle Ah San was doing well. With their keeper playing outfield in the 2nd half. Another Malay uncle played keeper in the 2nd half. Uncle Kelvin played defence. Kenny in the middle again. Andi played striker. Faizal cannot shoot well with me not playing keeper. Faizal's son couldn't emulate his last match with us.

The team in yellow were below strength. We sadly capitalized.

Shyong Ming kept a clean sheet. I was blocking out angles from them. Kang Xiang was cancelling them out. David played like an overlapping right-back(which he did very well). Keith terrorizes the opponents. Nicholas really a master of a midfielder. Eugene Tan was there with gusto. Alex masterminding the whole operation. Wee Zheng was linking with others. Daniel scored a couple.

MAN OF THE MATCH: KEITH. THIS GUY IS NEEDED EVERY SATURDAY. A WINGER WHO'S NOT AFRAID OF TAKING ON OPPONENTS. SCORING WITH DEADLINESS.

We lost 10-8.

These men in yellow jerseys killed us...

Their Malay goalie - At his age, he is fit. He saves those difficult shots from our fit players.

Uncle Ah San - The most intelligent man on the pitch. He is what we call the real deal boss. When he plays, how many can dispossess him?

Uncle Justin - What an all round performance whenever he plays.

Andi - This man has regained his fitness. Now he is better than me.

Faizal - He is now back to like when he was young. Terrorizing me with those low grounders.

Kenny - Very, very dangerous. How did all these uncles suddenly rewind time?

Faizal's son - This boy will be picked by his school team.

The Chinese uncle who played defender - He cannot be underestimated.

Another Malay guy - He can actually save as goalkeeper.

It is embarassing for me. Its clear I can't play football well anymore. I played goalkeeper and the goals scored can be saved by any S-League keeper.

As I stood between the posts and see my comrades in action, they had surpassed me completely. What memories we had since they were early teens are what keeps them, allowing them to play with me. But for how long? How can they be patient for so long? Look at Alex. Our best technical player. God knows how deep his patience is with Q-S.

His brothers David and Kang Xiang. Who are proud of Q-S achievements with TNP. Now TNP legacy is gone, only free in the mornings, how long will this past glories keep them befriending me? Shyong Ming and Wee Zheng, enjoying every Saturday listening to my jokes, enduring the shame of hanging around with me whom people call 'crazy', will we stay friends for life?

Nicholas was in the same boat as me. But he changes much better than me. He can play football well. Both of us do question do we have these illnesses, or there's a medical glitch somewhere?

Keith joined us through recommendation by Wee Zheng. I bet he remembers how good Q-S is as goalkeeper. But those were goalposts made by Uncle Ah San. In standard posts, Q-S is total crap.

Johan and Winston had followed us for quite some time. They may voice out on my inablities. But they are keeping it in check.

Uncle Ah San, who always have nice things to say about me, has brought us to upper level. But this level where I have to play goalkeeper in real posts, is too much for me. :(

Not to mention Uncle Justin who is the epitome of what is being patient.

People used to be proud of me, battling illness and able to work and play. But these sympathies are becoming thin.

Now I take orders at M, they say I don't smile, I am not friendly to customers and colleagues and I'm slow. If last time people say I'm handsome, now they say my face is like shit.

I just smile and try not to hurt people's feelings even if they hurt me.

For the match today, we lost 8-7.

PS My right boot there's a tear. Should I buy new boots or give up playing?

It was exilirating. See-saw, to and fro throughout the entire match. David Teo scored the winning goal to a 13-12 scoreline.

Do note the yellow team have dangermen in Faizal, Uncle Ah San and Kenny. Our Nicholas played for them and is a deadly danger throughout.

The 3 Teo brothers form the core of the core of us. Look at Alex. Every Saturday afternoon showing he is the best midfielder among us. David, who is a vital finisher. Whose goals ratio every Saturday is impressive.

Wee Zheng was there trying to stick in with tackles. He's fit and should have more bite in his tackles.

Ziming is very young and to score a goal is good.

Shyong Ming is the silent destroyer. He doesn't talk, he smiles and breaks up play with precision force.

Daniel should convert to defender.

Now this is the reason why they score and we score back - Keith Tan. He has always been a winger. Cutting diagonally and shoots or assists. Glad me made a rare appearance. His contributions today was amazing.

Me playing goalkeeper was horrible. Yes I saved a few shots. But those goals let in? Embarassing.

MAN OF THE MATCH: KANG XIANG. HE WINS THE BALL MORE THAN ANYONE ON THE PITCH. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT.

What a thriller. We won 10-9. These men in black went through war.

Alex - He does everything and had an excellent game.

Shyong Ming - He's defending very well. Most interceptions to prevent goals. MAN OF THE MATCH.

Kang Xiang - Close to winning MOTM again. With a display that's exceptional.

Wee Zheng - Scored 2 goals. Both worth it.

Nicholas - He knows how to blend with the team. A good fit.

Ziming - Primary 6 boy. Needs plenty of time.

David - A major difference maker. With him, we can attack better.

Daniel - Helped himself to a goal.

Me - Horrendous.

The yellow team really played well. Kenny and Ah San destroyed us.

We get the win. But not impressive. 8-6.

In the 1st half, we went ahead through Nicholas. The Malay boy who has no choice but to play for us(yellow team), scored with a delightful chip to make it 2-0. The yellow team pulled one back 2-1. Then Nicholas again 3-1. Alex thumped one to make it 4-1. The yellows trim the lead to 4-2. We stretched our lead. Eugene Tan slotted home 5-2. Before a club player this Malay boy for a day scored to end the first half 6-2.

2nd half we were outnumbered. The yellow team tried to take advantage of 3 men extra. They scored for 6-3. Then that club player took us to 7-3. The yellow team took advantage of their numbers by scoring 2 to narrow it to 7-5. We extended to 8-5. Then the opponents scored the last goal of the game. 8-6.

A couple of the yellow team players were enthusiastic and went down injured. We survived a 2nd half when we were outnumbered.

MAN OF THE MATCH: NICHOLAS. WE KNOW WHERE WE BOTH CAME FROM. LOOK AT US. OVERCOMING THIS HANDICAP IN LIFE, WORK AND EARN MONEY. NICHOLAS REALLY DID WELL ON THIS DAY. PROOF THAT PEOPLE CAN CHANGE FOR THE BETTER.

I was shit. The biggest drubbing in our entire history. The team in black lost 9-4. How can this be? It was me and I'm past my prime.

It was horrendous from the start. Their uncle in orange, Kenny, Andi and Justin did the heavy damage. Ah San was defending really well. With Faizal controlling the midfield. The uncles are in comeback mode. Emulating Q-S from abyss to earning money.

After HT, it was 4-0. 2nd half, we were on our groove. But the team in yellow extended their lead to 8-0. Never before we were down by 8-0. The ones who attended are nice to me. They know its my fault but they'd rather keep mum about it.

It is not coincedence to think that now I'm talking at work, my football is affected. I do counter and for months and months before CNY, most of the customers are satisfied with my work. Then after CNY, most customers do not want to order from me. I stand and wait for interval of around 15 minutes? What happened after CNY? 1 or 2 customers not pleased with what I say and 97% of customers do not want to order from me? Did they forget my good service for many months? Probably those 1 or 2 customers want to sabotage me and caught me at the wrong time.

We scored 4 to make it 9-4. It is now between my work and play.

We had lesser men. We cannot do our slick-passing movement on a very watery pitch. But we turned this around.

I had to do goalkeeper. I am not a goalkeeper for standard posts. We were shot down 4-0 by the yellow team. Kang Xiang decided to switch with me. We somehow managed to narrow the deficit to 4-2. The rain became heavier and we called it half-time.

In the 2nd half, we started our outstanding comeback. I was doing all I can as a defender. Kang Xiang played outfield again and scored a couple of goals for us to catch-up 4-3. The yellow team then made it 5-3. Oh how we digged deep to hit 5-4. We finally equalized 5-5. Then 6-5 and 7-5 in succession.

8-5 we stretched. The yellow team replied 8-6. We placed 2 more for the good. 10-6.

Winston is fast, very fit and did well. Eugene Tan bulldozing his way through the logged pitch. David deputized as goalkeeper with no complains. Alex's passing is hindered by the water but still using intelligence. Ziming is fixed on the right. Daniel scored 6 goals. Johan is linking up with us on the field.

MAN OF THE MATCH: KANG XIANG. A NEVER GIVE-UP SHOW OF PLAY. ONE OF THE REASONS HOW WE OVERTURN A 4-0 LEAD INTO OUR VICTORY. NOT MANY TEAMS GIVEN A PLAYING SURFACE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH CAN PULL THIS OFF.

We went in the lead 1-0. Then the yellow team equalized 1-1. Again, we in the lead 2-1. Half-time.

I was per normal as left-back. Kang Xiang, the complete defender, was all-out nullifying threats. Eugene Tan is fit and a very good technical player. Keith, in a rare appearance, made the left-flank his. Alex again pulling the strings from the middle of the park. Nicholas knows what he's doing as he used to respresent school. Wee Zheng with a few interceptions. David showed a few neat tricks with the ball. Danny, choosing to play for the black team, scored one. Winston came in the 2nd half and changed the entire match.

With our silky passings, we added up our total of goals to 9. They scored with the last kick of the ball. For a scoreline of 9-2.

Daniel placed us on level terms again 2-2.

Eugene Tan's shot made us go to the lead 3-2.

Another Kenny strike, 3-3 the score.

The yellow team went ahead 4-3.

A last-minute goal by Daniel earned us a 4-4 draw.

Winston switching to the yellow team is a major turnaround.
