Buangkok FC Training 26 April 2014

Many people came to play. Here they are...

Q-S
Alex
Kang Xiang
Shyong Ming
David
Keith
Uncle Justin
Nicholas
Malay Boy
Malay Boy's Friend
Jeff
Javier
Ah San
Cher Siang
Daniel
Winston
Winston's new friend

Special mention for the core of the team:

Q-S is proven doing unbelievable saves as goalkeeper. But can I play in normal goalposts?

Alex is going to be the playmaker. Every Saturday we are friends, but in a private league again bloodthirsty opponents?

Kang Xiang had evolved throughout the years. A captain must be vocal and I think he fits in.

Shyong Ming is ever loyal. The silent assassin.

We need David galloping down the wings. With powerful shots.

Keith is another winger who will be very useful. One for the future.

Nicholas in midfield will tidy things up. Creative with the ball.

Cher Siang is a defender with brute force.

The rest have to come regularly. Or they are out of the future private league set-up.

Man Of The Match for the day: UNCLE JUSTIN. How many people can dispossess him when he has the ball?

Team A 6 Team B 10

Team A

GK - Cher Siang
CD - Shyong Ming
CM - Wee Zheng
CM - Nicholas
CM - Alex
AM - David

Team B

GK - We rotate
CD - Kang Xiang
CD - Ah San
LM - Q-S
CM - Winston

ST - Jeff

Did I miss anyone out?

Big Malay Guy Is came but left early.

For Team A, Cher Siang tried his best as keeper. Shyong Ming was everywhere. Defending and supporting the attack. Wee Zheng is a lucky man. With his short grounded passes. Nicholas did well as midfielder. Smart play. Alex again right timing. Got shackled by Q-S who always try to win the ball. David going for goals. National Service trained.

For Team B, Kang Xiang was winning balls. Brain and brawn. Uncle Ah San returned from injury. For his age, he played very well. Q-S was rolling back the years on the left. I scored. Winston is a ball-winner. Another fit NS man. Keith dribbling down the right. He assisted me with my only goal and I returned the favour. Jeff came in late and played in this match. Contributed a lot to the victory.

MAN OF THE MATCH: KEITH. This guy is brave to take on defenders. With stinging shots. A natural winger.

H8FC Training 12 April 2014

10 people played. But we had a lot of fun.

Q-S
Alex
Kang Xiang
Shyong Ming
David
Keith
Jeff
Cher Siang
Winston
Nicholas

The first match the team I was in lost. I was getting started as striker with many shots on and off target. Goals: 0.

The second match I was given another bite at the cherry. I played striker again. Winston laid the ball for me for a very simple tap-in. After that 2 goals came rushing in for me. My team won. Goals: 3. First time Q-S scored a hat-trick.

Alex was playing well again. That playmaker role.

Kang Xiang is a good defender. Though not tall, very good in the air.

Shyong Ming playing in defence. Goes up often.

David Teo bamboozle on either flank. Shooting at sight.

Keith knows how to dribble. Anyone who tries to stop him will feel repelling impact.

Jeff made a rare appearance. With a Liverpool jersey.

Cher Siang willing to play keeper.

Winston had a good game. Improving rapidly.

Nicholas a compact midfielder. Trying potshots at goal.

After playing football, we had our dinner together. Winston and Jeff left early. Alex did not join us.

MAN OF THE MATCH: Q-S. First hat-trick. Over 20 saves as goalkeeper.

H8FC Training 5 April 2014

11 people played on this day...

Q-S
Alex
Kang Xiang
Is(Big Malay Guy)
Shyong Ming
Winston
Ah San
Daniel
Nicholas
Nazri
Uncle Justin

Three 5-goal matches

I was doing good as usual as goalkeeper. Also, rolling back the years on the left-side of the pitch.

Alex again with his intelligent play. Avoiding challenges swiftly.

Kang Xiang is fast and was first-choice left-back in his JC. Another Gareth Bale?

Is is a huge signing for us if ever there was one. He bangs the goals like Didier Drogba.

Shyong Ming is defender in one moment and attacker the next. A free role.

Winston is improving. His forte is winning the ball.

Ah San defends well. Nice of him to let a few of us watch football at his house.

Daniel claims to be a Barcelona fan. Why was he wearing a Real Madrid shirt?

Nicholas scored nice goals yesterday. He should pass rather than shoot.

Nazri has come back to us after going sabbatical for years. A natural overlapping right-back.

Uncle Justin too made a comeback after months of injury. For his age, he is integral in our set-up for the future.

MAN OF THE MATCH: SHYONG MING. He is always in close proximity with the ball. Defending well and popped-in with shots on target like a viper. Very fast. He has no fixed position. He is playing a free role. Roaming anywhere he please.
