You wear your English team jerseys proud. Do you people actually see that we are now the worst footballing nation in South East Asia?

Just look at the statistics in the AFF Cup. Just one draw and two losses. How many goals we scored? Our own football is in deep trouble.

I am a Chelsea fan. Why? Because my favourite players in the world so happen to be in the team. Now how many? Hazard and? No more Lamps, Joe Cole, Makelele. I'm not proud of the team that much. So all these red jerseys around me are like circling a man who really, absolutely don't care about them at all.

Yes I like football but not love. I play occasionally. I wrote about it. I am thankful for the company and happy treatment of my football team. But I really, really don't care at all about these red jerseys who love me or hate me. There isn't even "love your enemies". Because I'm surrounded by red jerseys who wants to know about me but I don't care at all about them.

Who do I care about? Me. And a section of people who care about me too.

I am utilizing this blog more. There will be comments from me on this footballing world. This blog will no longer be just once a week coverage on our football games.

We must not disrespect the team in yellow. These middle-aged men had contributed so much to our nation. Its not their fault that age play a role. Uncle Ah San calling all his kakis to play with us is a welcoming idea.

Today the us in black won 8-1. It is not a fair reflection to the match. Three of their dangerous players were not available.

I played as goalkeeper then I came out in the middle of the 2nd half. Kang Xiang was there always as a defender. Shyong Ming is a colossal rock in defence. Winston did brilliant too. Eugene does good. Alex with a masterclass of showing in midfield. David again maintaining his 1.5 goal record per match. Nicholas does well in midfield. Johan dribbling well in attack. Wee Zheng with simple passes. Keith is fast and a winger.

I was playing goalkeeper in the 1st half. Kang Xiang decided to play attacker. Helping himself to 2 goals in 2 minutes. Then 1st half ends.

The 2nd half, Winston played for the yellow team. I conceded a goal through Uncle Kenny. I played outfield swapping with Kang Xiang. Alex scored to make it 3-1. Then they pulled another one back 3-2. Alex doubled his tally to 4-2. Before they pulled one back again to make it 4-3. I was told to play keeper again for the remainder of the match.

We won 4-3.

David playing well as defender. Shyong Ming was there to nullify threats from the opponents. Nicholas controlling the midfield. JJ is good on the wings. Eugene Tan is everywhere on the pitch. Winston defending with runs. Daniel should be on right-back not striker.

Q-S, Eugene Tan, Kang Xiang, Shyong Ming, Alex, Eugene, Nicholas, Wee Zheng and David played for the Us in black. 2 of them joined us to even the squad.

Goalkeeping duties were rotated between Q-S, Eugene Tan and Kang Xiang.

We went ahead 1-0 to the Them in yellow. Shyong Ming scored. That it was at half-time.

Alex drilled in the 2nd to make it 2-0. We extended the lead to 3-0. They scored 3-1. David with another 4-1. They pulled one back 4-2. That's how it ends. We won 4-2.

MAN OF THE MATCH: KANG XIANG. MANY VITAL INTERVENTIONS TO PREVENT THE OPPONENTS FROM SCORING.

1st half I played goalkeeper. The opponents went ahead 1-0. We equalized 1-1 through Eugene Tan. Ziming placed us ahead 2-1. Before they equalized 2-2.

In the 2nd half was a nightmare for us. They stretched their lead to 6-2. With me doing blunders as goalkeeper. Eugene Tan swapped with me. I played outfield. Suddenly, we are fired up. David showed his form. By scoring a bundle. We narrowed their lead to 6-5. They again scored to make it 7-5. We cut their lead to 7-6.

Final score: Us 6 Them 7

MAN OF THE MATCH: DAVID TEO. EVEN AT 6-2 DOWN, HE DOESN'T GIVE UP AND ALMOST HELPED US TO AN UNBELIEVABLE WIN.

It was war. We were taken to the limits. Don, their fast and dangerous striker, pan-chit us. Ah San with that intelligent brain of his. Uncle Justin twisting and turning. Their playmaker Kenny with all those cut-through passes. Felix, their defensive midfield lynchpin controlling the centre.

But we win. Here is our line-up:

2nd half, there was a heated argument between Felix and Tang Yao. Tang Yao and me came from the same Poly. The kind lecturers do dismiss you when you break major rules. He has to think about his Diploma. But today he saved vital shots that helps the scoreline a lot.

I was crap. All my teammates bailed me out. Kang Xiang and Shyong Ming showed true grit and agression with an A grade defensive showing. Winston is one of our best. Alex showing class. Nicholas doing well. Ziming with nearby passes.

David is no longer a winger. He is now a striker. An average of 1.5 goals per game.(Haha. Am I exaggerating?)

The yellow team went ahead 2-0. Then Winston and company arrived. They did the comeback and we led 3-2 at half-time.

What an afternoon for us. I worry without Alex. But we responded exceeding expectations.

Look at this perfect formation. We don't need any excuses on a standard pitch with standard goalposts.

Ah San's yellow team went ahead 1-0. Then we equalized 1-1 through David. Ziming, yes Ziming, placed us ahead 2-1. This primary school kid is destined for big things. Look at his smart passes and positioning. We have uncovered a potential gem.

An own goal pegged us back 2-2. Nicholas made it 3-2 from distance. Eugene Tan 4-2. David made it 5-2. Before Johan thumped in the 6th to end half-time.

In the 2nd half, David switched sides. We stretched our lead all the way to 10-2. Eugene Tan, on the left, was totally brilliant. That left-winger role like that of a national team player. Eugene, another powerful showcase in midfield. Nicholas showing class even being chubby(kidding mate). We need Johan. A truly intelligent striker. If he and David click real well, we can start dreaming of a 10 match winning run. (That is a goal).

Tang Yao again with a few top-draw saves. Kang Xiang, Shyong Ming and Winston defended stoutly. Many vital interceptions. It's a must that defenders have the ability to head the ball. Positioning too. Players with intention to injure the opponents are not welcome anywhere in the football fraternity.

After 10-2 up, we leaked in 3 goals. But this is a thrashing. 10-5 the final score is.

MAN OF THE MATCH: ZIMING. AH SAN'S SON IS A BRAVE BOY. JUST A PRIMARY SCHOOL BOY PLAYING WITH MEN. HE IS OUR FUTURE. I HOPE WE CAN MOULD HIM INTO A NATIONAL TEAM PLAYER. THAT WOULD PROPEL ME FROM A PARTICIPANT WITH THE NEW PAPER.

A David hat-trick, Johan, Alex and Shyong Ming gave us a 6-5 victory over Ah San's yellow army.

We were so flamboyant, we went 6-0 up. How they managed to pull 5 back is due to a few factors.

Our skilful defender Kang Xiang deciding to go up gave frowns to our faces. He is that good. No need to go up in his own words "go for the kill". We were 6-0 up. Hey help Tang Yao get a clean sheet.

Tang Yao getting a knock on the head from the post after saving. His vision is blurred, can't blame him.

We need a stable back 4. Please.

Ah San's little son playing for us is the future. Look at him. Wing-play. Feed him the ball and those low crosses. Now imagine him around 16/17. He is going to be like Ryan Giggs when he gains speed.

But we somehow took the lead through David 1-0. Ah San's team in yellow equalized through their new mercuial winger. Eugene's friend brought us to 2-1. Then Johan made it 3-1 to end the half.

Their Ah Hock illegal recruitment of a fit African at half-time was uncalled for.

That guy made an immediate contribution by assisting Ah San to make it 3-2. Eugene's friend extended our lead to 4-2. A corner by the opponent and they did it 4-3. That is the final score. We win 4-3

Tang Yao did very well as keeper. Winston another all-round defender show.

Eugene's friend impress on his debut. Nicholas midfield smart. Eugene the hardman in the middle. Alex our mastermind as always. Wee Zheng placed in a lot of effort. Shaun? Ah San's son is our future. Primary school kid playing for us?

A classic 4-4-2 on a limited artificial pitch. Ah San's team in yellow are strong even without a few key players. We went ahead 2-0 with a brace by David. Then it rained. We sheltered.

We continued playing. The yellow team narrowed it to 2-1. Alex made it 3-1. They again reduced to 3-2. Alex again 4-2. The yellow team do it 4-3.

Tang Yao is injured. So I had to play keeper in the 2nd half. They equalized through a header from a corner. 4-4. Then we started the flow of goals. Wee Zheng scoring twice in a minute. A personal milestone. An own goal and a shot deflected off me placed us in a Golden Goal situation. Winston was there to finish our assignment. We won 7-6.

Kang Xiang and Cher Siang defended very stoutly. Shyong Ming is needed as a physical winner of the ball. Nicholas knows what he's doing. Johan with his dribbling is a totally improved player.

The yellow team hired an Indian guy to play. He is excellent. Even barefooted. He is MAN OF THE MATCH. Ah San and Uncle Justin gave A+ performances. The rest of the uncles in yellow did very well. Even their goalkeeper who came out of nowhere.

Tang Yao is controlling his anger. If this were few years ago, he would yell. Kang Xiang defended well with good passes. Winston is fit and now one of our best. Nicholas with nice passes. Alex doing his best. David stuffed in a lot of goals.

HT was 5-3. We did slightly better in the 2nd half though we lost 7-5. Bad day.

Tang Yao made many contributing saves. Kang Xiang defended well slicing the ball with clearances. Winston was running everywhere with the ball. Nicholas with deft passes. Eugene outmuscling their toughest players. Wee Zheng intercepts a bit. Alex missing a penalty is costly, coming from our best player throughout our history. Shyong Ming venturing forward. Keith running from the left. Daniel crossing from the right. David tried to score.

An own goal to place us ahead. Goalline scramble leading to Ah San popping in the equalizer. Cher Siang broke his leg in an all-out effort to prevent the goal.

Grass today. We were atrocious. Leading 2-1 in the 1st half with a Johan double, the 2nd half is stupendously horrible. How the other team in yellow managed to score a flurry of goals to make it 6-2 is bombastically hogwash.

Our right-hand side is exposed. No right-back. Next week there has to be a right-back.

One of us is giving away possession too cheaply. Can smile during the game and TALK.

Their #6 must have thought he's Arjen Robben by exploiting our right-hand side.

Next week we must have a stable back four. No more defenders adventuring. Midfield there should be wingers.

Ah San, Don and #88 should be marked closely.

We were clinically doing it to the team in yellow. Johan's 1st half hat-trick, an own goal and one by Eugene ended the half at 5-0. The original plan was to shut-shop in the 2nd half.

But a few of us think its funny by telling me to play striker. Ah San's team broke their deadlock 5-1. Then 5-2. The joke certainly isn't funny when I scored the 6th goal. (Though I think the uncle just let me score) David thumped in to make it 7-2. I can tell you Buangkok FC's yellow team always steal the show in the 2nd half. They narrowed it all the way to 7-5. Tang Yao even saved a penalty!

We then showed our true mettle. I went back to left-back. Shyong Ming scored the 8th. Alex seethed in the 10th. Altogether 12-5.

I played for the other team as gk at first. Winston scored for Buangkok FC originals 1-0. Then 2-0 through an own goal. Another 3-0 when I was pushed from behind by my own teammate.

The team in yellow told me to play for the originals. Keith made it 4-0 halftime.

Tang Yao is solid as gk. Cher Siang play to kill. Shyong Ming razor sharp as defender. Winston roaming around like an assasin. Alex dictating the midfield. Wee Zheng plugging the centre. Keith terrifying the left-wing. Johan playing with style. David relishing as striker.

In the 2nd half, the other team up their game. From 4-0 became 4-2. We stretched our lead to 6-2. But the other team won't give up. They equalized 6-6. Winston scored the golden goal 7-6.

Buangkok FC Street Soccer 30 January 2016

Like another issue of a comic book, our adventures continue again. We decided to play street soccer. Only 6 of us came. Alex, David, Kang Xiang, Q-S, Tang Yao and Cher Siang.

The first match was against a group of young boys from a secondary school military band. We won 19-14. These boys sure won't forget this day. They will come back years later bigger and better.

The second match is against a big guy and small guys. I played goalkeeper and when the score is 2-2, Tang Yao took over. We won 5-3.

The third match, the big guy called 3 of his big friends. We were down 2-0. Rallied back up 2-2. They won 3-2. We decided to leave.

Alex did well, a master of the court. David just slots in the goals. Kang Xiang doing the defence to attack. Cher Siang is about brute force. Tang Yao saves shots. I am not really pleased with my goals for the first match. The opponents are lower secs for God's sake.

Just another Saturday for us.

3-0 we went up. All 3 scored by Johan. An own goal made it 3-1. Kang Xiang thumped one in. So the half ended 4-1.

In the 2nd half, an outrageous goal by their Kenny made it 4-2. Then an own goal 4-3. Uncle Ah San, the CEO, equalized for them 4-4.

At 4-4, many of us are smiling. Something is not right. Me, Alex, David, Cher Siang and Tang Yao are not. David is not buying it and stuffed in the winning goal. We won by golden goal 5-4.

Team yellow are without dangerous Don, Kenny and that guy who plays like Paul Scholes. But their Brazilian played. His name is Luke.

Ah San's troop went ahead 1-0 through Uncle Justin(thanks for the transport man). We equalized through Johan. Then they took the lead again 2-1. Keith popped up with a goal to end the half 2-2.

Tang Yao giving 100% as goalkeeper. Only idiots still say Q-S can't play football. And keeps on repeating that. Winston is the mainstay of the team. Wee Zheng, after getting mocked of the losing streak, improves a bit. Alex is the fulcrum of the team. We like to play counter-attack and he is the conductor of the tune. Shyong Ming is the all-rounder winning balls in the middle of the pitch. Keith is needed on that wing. Contributed tremendously with 2 huge goals. Johan knows how to get into good positions. David is vital in the attack play.

2nd half everyone upped their game. Keith took the golden goal. Buangkok FC originals won 3-2.

The 1st half we were horrific. How Meng played for the opponents. We were down 3-1. If they can see, they have one man extra. Then when their 3rd goal came, 2 of their players just joined in. We were heavily outnumbered. So HT 3-1.

I kept my mouth shut during break. 2nd half we were down 5-3. Tang Yao has changed in this aspect not like when he was younger. He still save shots even though we were down. Winston is defending well. Also attacking. Eugene seldom place a foot wrong. Wee Zheng badly needed to end that losing streak. Alex is the link everywhere in the pitch. Johan's positioning is good. David's goals are vital. How Meng, our Home United superstar...I wish he plays every Saturday.

We managed to climb back 5-5. 3 more goals and it's 8-5. That's a wrap. I contributed by praising and showing players with ball teammates in good position. This is how I talk.

A bad day at the office for the Buangkok FC originals.

The afternoon started with us, Buangkok FC II(yellow) and another one of them(dark blue) in Triple Threat matches. One goal and change team. The yellow team won 4, dark-blue team 2 and us 0. Poor uncle Daniel suffered a concussion when he crashed against the metal crossbar.
