Buangkok FC Training 30 August 2014

We started off with 3 kids playing. Then 3 more joined in. Uncle Justin and Nicholas were in the opposite team. Me, Alex and Shyong Ming the other. The match ended 6-6. I finally scored with a header. Thanks to Shyong Ming's cross.

Then 5-on-5. Many regulars missing in action.

Team A

GK - Tang Yao
CD - Pillay(Indian Guy)
CD - Shyong Ming
LM - Q-S
CM - Nicholas

Team B

GK - They rotate
CD - Ah San
CM - Winston
CM - Alex
CM - Uncle Justin
ST - Daniel

Looks good on paper.

Tang Yao did a few outstanding saves. Willing to dive on the very muddy ground. Pillay is an all-round player. He is comfortable playing for us. Shyong Ming defending superbly well. Dare to join in the attack. Nicholas knows his passing. Should pass to me more.

For Team B, Ah San is fit again. Lots of experience. Winston improves by a margin. From defence to attack scoring goals. Alex may seem a basics guy. But try to dispossess him with the ball and it's very difficult. Uncle Justin is proof he gets better with age. Twisting and turning. Daniel should improve on his positioning. Since he's fast, he should run to meet assists and crosses.

The match ended 5-4 to Team B. We continued and Team B still won 10-8.

MAN OF THE MATCH: SHYONG MING. He should have tried for his Poly's football team.

Buangkok FC Training 23 August 2014

Many people played today. Here are what I think is the best position for them...

Q-S - I should be on the bench giving orders. Only sub myself in when necessary. Player-manager. Best position: Left midfield.

Kang Xiang - Full of skills. Defends very well. Best position: Anywhere in defence.

Alex - Pulling the strings from the middle. Few hassles. Best position: Centre midfield.

David Teo - Can shoot. But not striker. Best position: Either wings.

Wee Zheng - Simple passes. Simple intervention. Best position: Centre midfield.

Shyong Ming - Very fit. Can take on 2 or 3 players. Best position: Sweeper.

Keith - Natural winger. Can shoot too. Best position: Right wing.

Ah San - Full of experience. Deadly in the air. Best position: Centre defence.

Indian Guy - Solid player. Has all the skills. Best position: Centre defence.

Xavier - Another all-rounder. We need him in defence. Best position: Centre defence.

Xavier's friend - Lots of vigour. Very skillful. Best position: Centre defence.

Zul - Likes to take on defenders. We should mould him as... Best position: Striker.

Nicholas - Compact in the middle. Integral part of our plan. Best position: Centre midfield.

Tang Yao - Finally came back to us. We really need him when we use standard field. Best position: Goalkeeper.

Jeff - A show-off as a player. Running and running. Best position: Striker

Is - Also returned after saying I talk too much. Deadly finisher. Best position: Striker.

Malay Boy - There are a few of them. If they all return, we have a full squad. Best position: Striker.

Daniel - He tried. Maybe the ground not suitable for him. Best position: Striker.

Tony - He can dribble. And he comes around once in 3 months. Best position: Either wings.

Did I accidentally leave anyone out?

MAN OF THE MATCH: INDIAN GUY. I do not know his name. But from what I can see, he is trained well by the Army. If he plays defender for us in a private league, we will be well covered in that area.

When all of you work, we are invading the NFL.

Buangkok FC Training 16 August 2014

3 kids played in the 1st match. They left when the game is not finished.

These are the people who attended:

Q-S
Alex
David Teo
Kang Xiang
Nicholas
Xavier
Malay Boy #1
Malay Boy #2
Cher Siang
Zul
Winston
Eugene

Did I miss anyone out?

Q-S' revelation continues. Working boosts my football skills.

Alex using intelligence. Knows where to position.

David Teo galloping down the flanks shooting hard. Is training with Hougang United one of his funny lies?

Kang Xiang is very fit. Wonder if he will play in the Prime League.

Nicholas is a good passer of the ball. Can score too.

Xavier doing well containing in the middle. I am very sorry for kicking your leg, what was I thinking?

Malay Boy #1 stayed till 7pm. Been a very long time since he joined us.

Malay Boy #2 stopped playing halfway. Wonder why.

Zul is a huge asset for us. He can dribble and he may be the answer to our striking woes.

Winston did very well. Scored a hat-trick in one match.

Eugene has the basic skills. Should bolster our squad should he comes regularly.

MAN OF THE MATCH: WINSTON. Defends brilliantly. Scored a hat-trick.

Buangkok FC Training 09 August 2014

It's National Day. We had a lot of fun.

Started with 5 skillful kids + Alex and Kang Xiang against me, Uncle Justin, Keith, Nicholas and Shyong Ming. My team won 5-3 with me scoring two.

Then more people came. We had a cruncher of a match.

Team A

GK/LM - Q-S
CD - Kang Xiang
CD - Shyong Ming
CM - Nicholas
CM - Uncle Justin
RW - Keith
ST - Tall Uncle

Team B

GK - They rotate
CD - Wee Zheng
CD - Winston
CD - Indian Guy
CM - Alex
RB - Nazri
ST - Daniel
ST - Zul

Team B went into a 1-0 lead. A freak goal. I had saved but the ball was blown into the net by the wind. Team A went up to a 2-1 lead. Zul equalized 2-2. Kang Xiang swapped places with me. He played goalkeeper and I stationed on the left. We went up 4-3. The third and fourth goals assisted by me. I had to pressure their defenders and goalkeeper for Uncle Justin to slot home. I have poor stamina. But if YOU are fit, do run at the opponents to pressure them with the ball. They may lose possession.

Final score: Team A 5 Team B 3

We rested and cracked some jokes. We continued with another match. Zul's brother joined us and scored his first goal.

MAN OF THE MATCH: This one you all decide and tell us.

Xavier
Xavier's friend

Before we played, Tang Yao returned. Maybe he will join us back as goalkeeper?

We played series of matches. Everyone played their part. Our brand of football is attractive.

We will entertain again this National Day.

Man Of The Match: Xavier's friend. Defender who dare to move forward. Scored a couple of goals. Should bolster our defence if he becomes regular.
