H8FC Street Soccer 30 December 2010

Yay! Chelsea finally ended their winless streak by beating Bolton 1-0. Today 7 of us played street soccer in a series of 4-on-3 matches. Some of the players have no respect for me whatsoever because I'm much older than them and I play lousy. What they will never ever understand is my father sabotaged my entire life by talking nonsense to doctors who prescribe me with medicine which make me weak.

There are some like the Teo brothers Alex, David and Crazy who understand my condition and I thank them and their parents who let them still be my friend/brother.

You all want report card. Here report card...

Alex - A = He can almost do anything with the ball. His football coach at Dunman High must be a moron not to put him in first XI.

David - B+ = Can shoot the ball powerfully. Should not try to be fancy and just do efficient moves which will lead to goals.

Crazy - B+ = Very fast. High stamina. Also should not do fancy moves. Should join his future JC/Poly school team. He will be like Ryan Giggs when Giggs was young.

Syahrein - B = Yalah yalah I lousy, may-yo-yong and all that nonsense coming out of the three overweight boys of the team. Don't even realize my game had improved from 2007 till now.

Tang Yao - C+ = Always complain when get teammates he deemed 'fei'. Unlike he and the other two heavyweight champions, I realized he scored goals today at least.

Cher Siang - B+ = Knows how to kick the ball. Always bad-mouthing me because he thinks his brother is better than me and looks down on me because I'm old and lousy in his eyes.

Da Pang - C = Shows a few nice touches. May end up in IMH after getting bullied in his future NS camp. Then HE will take medicine like ME and HE will become lousier in football.

All of you have fun having lunch at Seoul Garden tomorrow. I'm not coming to save money. Happy 2011.

H8FC Training Christmas Day

Sad, sad day for our club though it's Christmas. Our 'home' ground now cannot be used. The government had ordered the ground to be dug up in patches leaving it looking like it's filled with landmines.

But our 'uncle' Ah San found another field nearby. It is much smaller where the construction workers lived but it will make-do just for today. I guess next week maybe we will go to the fish farm field at Tampines Road.

13 guys and 1 girl played today. They are...

Alex
David
Crazy
Syahrein(Q-S)
Da Pang
Shyong Ming
Keith
Jia Qi
Daniel
How Meng
Tang Yao
Cher Siang
Ah San
Joey

Although Joey is fat, she is actually beautiful. And she got this bubbly personality. I already like her now that she's fat. Imagine if she goes to London Weight Management and becomes slim, I'm sure many, many guys will want her. Too bad she doesn't like me. Because you morons told her what I think of her. It's ok. When I have money, I can have plenty of fat and single pretty girls.

Today at this bumpy, small new ground, we played 7-a-side. The first one, I'm in a team that won 5-2. I tried hard being like Frank Lampard but I realized I'm easily out of breath. Screw the medications. Alex scored 4 goals and I almost scored a couple of times.

The 2nd match, I played goalkeeper. It's a crime how people refused to acknowledge the saves I made and would look at my weaknesses and magnify them. This is a lame trick to put people down - look at their weaknesses, magnify them as big as possible and ignore ALL their strengths. Try this trick on me and don't blame me if the girl you like feels sorry for me and hates you for it.

We cannot continue playing in State Land pitches like this. When I get a job, I will book a stadium for us. This is one step back and will be three steps forward for Hougang 8 Football Club.

H8FC Street Soccer 21 December 2010

9 of us played street soccer this morning. They are:

Alex
David
Crazy
Syahrein(Q-S)
Da Pang(Wee Zheng)
Cher Siang
Tang Yao
Kevin
Shyong Ming

We played many 5 on 4 matches. I think ALL of us scored goals today with the exception of Tang Yao who seemed not interested to play when his teammates are what he considered 'fei-wu'. Scoring goals is not a problem for Hougang 8 Football Club. I recalled our worst defeat by a pro team 14-1 and I wonder are we ready now for another pro team. I think we are at the end of Amateur going to Intermediate. But Professional? Not yet.

It's a breeze playing street soccer in the morning. As the bad boys are asleep after moonlighting until 4am or 5am. Our field 'home' ground actually got a 'No Ball Games' sign on it. If we are caught after a warning, where are we going to play? At the fish farm field at Tampines Road? I guess I'll have to ask IMH whether they will rent us their field on Saturday afternoon. Worse comes to worse, we have to play street soccer with those gangsters who are foul-mouthed and will never learn that they are going to jail soon.

Before we play field football, those bad boys gave us a hard workout at the soccer court and I'm very proud of my boys for stepping up to the plate. Sometimes we win, sometimes they win. I played goalkeeper usually against those bad boys. I don't care what anyone thinks, I think I'm a very good goalkeeper. I can save hard shots. And I know who to pass first that will lead movements to goal. That's about it. I HATE those bad boys who ram the ball when I'm keeper. For reasons like they don't like my face or the girl that they like like me more or my little sister doesn't like them or extreme jealousy that I'm a good writer and my name and pictures appear on The New Paper.

Why should I feel pain saving their shots? THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE THE GUTS TO PLAY GOALKEEPER! My team HATES playing with them too so Saturday is our holy field football game. Sorry H8FC players for this angry post. It's better to play among ourselves than against bad boys who take it all but never give.

H8FC Training 18 December 2010

I know a lot of you read this blog. Please get a gmail account and comment off.

Today we trained at a special lunch time because the brothers Alex, David and Crazy had to attend a wedding ceremony in the evening. 15 'handsome' guys trained for today. Here they are and my summary of them...

Alex = We played a few 7-a-side and Alex was his usual self. He is definitely a playmaker and the captain of this team. We are going to miss him when he goes NS next year.

David Villa Indian Guy = Amazing player. Really gifted as a striker. His skills is almost the same as Shyong Ming.

Shyong Ming = He is one of the best players of the team. His dribbling skills is second to none. He can tackle. Very good player. Can run and run.

Q-S(Syahrein) = Ok talking about myself here. I don't have stamina but I just pass the ball around as simple as I can. Sometimes I score nice goals. I am a very good goalkeeper though.

Crazy = Very high stamina. Favourite player is Rooney. He is better as an overlapping left-back. Should try for Holy Innocent football team. When asked why he didn't, he arrogantly answered, 'My school so lousy. Don't deserve my services'.

Teck Seng = Left early at 2:30PM because had to help his mother. Slowly improving as defender after I taught him the basics.

AMKSS guy = Although I was in AMKSS centuries ago, I don't want to tell him I was from there. He may not be that good but he has a poacher's instinct when scoring goals.

Kelvin 6 = Best friends with AMKSS guy. Both of them are still early. If they continue playing with us, hey we can polish these coals into gems.

Tang Yao = Likes to play mind games during training by saying in Chinese what he thinks of each person. Good goalkeeper. He may not agree, although me and him have different goalkeeping techniques, we are almost as good as each other.

Jia Qi = Reminds me of me when I was his age. Skinny but fit. And a very good midfielder. This is the type of teenager that Singaporeans should be. Not some gangster.

Keith = Quiet but very effective. These are the type of teenagers that will bring Singapore forward in the future.

Cher Siang = Mr.Anti-Chelsea may be overweight. But I assure you in the future when he becomes lean and mean, he will embarass everyone who made fun of him. Solid defender.

Da Pang(Wee Zheng) = Ok he got good knowledge of football. But his football skills? *Thumbs down*.

Mysterious Man United boy = He's a primary school kid and he plays so well. He always knows when we play. Who is this boy?

David = Ah our own Steven Gerrard. Well he couldn't score pass me today when I played goalkeeper. Good player. One of my closest friends and one of the core of the team.

I wish single girls will come and see us play. We play sexy football. At Buangkok beside Shop N' Save every Saturday afternoon.

H8FC Street Soccer 17 December 2010

It appears only 6 H8FC players are interested in playing street soccer in the morning. They are of course me, Alex, Crazy, Cher Siang, Shyong Ming and Da Pang. They took advantage of their school holidays to play as much street soccer as their bodies could handle.

For today we played a lot of 3 on 3 matches. The team that scores 5 goals wins it all. And then we seperated ourselves in new 2 teams again. All of us except Da Pang can shoot the ball well. You people got to see the goals I scored. Some of you may not like it but my goals are like Frank Lampard. Manchester United fans who hate Frank Lampard are jealous because he's more handsome than any Manchester United players. He is also a better midfielder than the likes of Michael Carrick and Anderson. Even Paul Scholes admitted Lampard is better than him by giving up the #8 England jersey for him. Well this jealousy will end soon after Lampard retires. What if Chelsea buys an English midfielder who is good-looking and a dynamic midfield player? The jealousy will start all over again.

After playing 3 on 3, we played a tournament called 'Tennis' which is stupidly ridiculous. Then we play 2 on 2 in a next team format. The team of Cher Siang and Crazy who are Manchester United fans won it all. Me teaming with Shyong Ming...he is better as a solo player as he cannot communicate with me who is a player who likes to pass the ball. Alex and Da Pang are Arsenal fans who, well, I didn't say Da Pang is lousy for no reason.

They ask for the report card? This is the report card...

Alex - A = The most technically-gifted player we have

Crazy - A- = Amazing stamina

Shyong Ming - A = Better as a solo player

Cher Siang - B+ = He hates everything Chelsea

Da Pang(Wee Zheng) - C- = Some people have it, some people don't

Q-S(Syahrein) - B+ = That's right the author of this blog is me. My football skills improve with dieting and a girl rejecting me. I want to prove to be better than any guy she fancies.

H8FC 10 SGS Indian Boys 8 (Street Soccer)

It was 4 against 4 at our homeground street soccer court(upper court). The H8FC players who participated are Shyong Ming, Alex, Q-S, Crazy, Cher Siang and Kevin. Wee Zheng was just a spectator.

We were down by 3-0. We should have lost if it was a 3-goals match. But it was a 10-goals match. In the end we won 10-8. We came back from behind to drew 8-8 and went on to win.

Shyong Ming: 5 goals
Crazy: 2 goals
Alex: 1 goal
Q-S: 1 goal
And 1 own goal.

I'm proud of the boys as their manager. For people like Wee Zheng(Da Pang) and Cher Siang who always look at my weaknesses and magnify them and refuse to see any of my strengths...maybe you should thank your lucky stars your dad doesn't send you to a mental hospital at your age because he thinks you should 'eat well' and 'sleep well'. Oh, judging by your body size, you are considered safe.

Man Of The Match: SHYONG MING. 5 goals said it all.

Hougang 8 FC 10 The Others 7

So far only 8 Hougang 8 FC players have donned the jersey. They are...

Tang Yao 1
Cher Siang 15
Crazy 5
Syahrein(Q-S) 81
Da Pang(Wee Zheng) 17
Alex 4
David 9
Shyong Ming 10

To the rest with no jerseys, I'll arrange a day where we all go Queensway to make jersey for you. The cost will be $30.

On this day, it was jersey v no jersey. For the jersey team, Tang Yao is the goalkeeper. It was a formation of 3-3-1. Cher Siang-Crazy-Wee Zheng in defence. Alex-Shyong Ming-Q-S in midfield and David lone striker. We played very well and won 10-7. I scored a hat-trick. Yes. I scored THREE goals. David scored 2. Alex scored 2. Shyong Ming 1 and 2 own goals.

Playing for the others are the bubblicious Joey, our grand old man Ah San, that Indian David Villa guy, 3 YCK boys, Kevin, that Michael Carrick guy and one mysterious boy who supports Manchester United.

Here are the report card for H8FC...

Tang Yao - B+: Solid goalkeeper. Solid defender.

Crazy - A-: No-nonsense defender.

Wee Zheng - C: Crap.

Shyong Ming - B: Kelong suspect.

Q-S - A-: I SCORED HAT-TRICK MAN!

Alex - A: Another superb showing by the captain.

David - B+: Should pass the ball more.

Cher Siang - A-: Very good defender.

8 against 9 and we still win. I suspect kelong in Wee Zheng and Shyong Ming.

Man Of The Match: ALEX. All-round player.
