Buangkok FC Training 29 November 2014

Quite disappointing as only 8 people came. The field was not in good condition. But we had fun playing 4-on-4.

These are the entertainers yesterday...

Q-S
Alex
David
Ah San
Zul
Winston
Uncle Justin
Wee Zheng

All of us scored because there were plenty of spaces. We all showcased our strengths. Overall, we had a good time.

MAN OF THE MATCH: Alex Teo. Given space, he exploited it well. We all can see his passing accuracy. A true playmaker.

Buangkok FC Training 22 November 2014

These are the people who came yesterday...

Alex - A true playmaker. Doesn't dribble but ability to evade opponents is superb.

Q-S - Nothing much at all from me. Except a couple of assists.

David - Running with the ball. Blasting when shoot.

Tang Yao - Played 3, won 3. Goalkeeper throughout.

Uncle Justin - This man is ever dangerous. All-round quality.

Nicholas - Maintaining his cool. Complete midfielder.

Winston - Very fit. Improving.

Ah San - At his age, smoking a lot. What tonic he drinks to still can play football?

Ah San's son - This boy is going to be an arrogant *beep* in the future. How can a 45 year old me handle him?

Chinese Uncle - Needs more games. What is his agenda for playing with us?

Daniel - One of his better days. He scored too.

How Meng - Wonder why he rarely joins us. Brought 2 friends along...

How Meng's friend(red) - Shows few basic skills. Scored a goal, more games perhaps.

How Meng's friend(black) - Did well when does not play football for a long time. He scored a few goals, that matters.

MAN OF THE MATCH: Alex Teo. Intelligent. Using brains more than brawn.

Buangkok FC Training 15 November 2014

Only 10 people came in a cloudy and slightly rainy day...

Alex

Q-S
Kang Xiang
Is
Malay boy
Wee Zheng
Tang Yao
Winston
Nicholas
Zul

The day were marred by training ground bust-ups.

Tang Yao and Is had a heated argument. Two heavyweights. We need Tang Yao as goalkeeper. Is needed as striker.

I was trying a back header and my back bumped into Malay boy. He is certainly not happy about it and left hurt. Unintentional.

One of our darkest days. Hope next week is back to brighter days.

Buangkok FC Training 8 November 2014

Started off with a mini-match between those who came early. Ah San's son and his 3 little friends joined us. Then we had one full match with the big guns.

Team A 7 Team B 8

Team A

GK - They rotate
CD - Winston
CD - Chinese uncle
CD - Wee Zheng
CD - Tony
CM - Alex
CM - Nicholas
CM - Uncle Justin
ST - Ah San
ST - Daniel

Team B

GK - Tang Yao
CD - Q-S
CD - Shyong Ming
LW - Keith
CM - Eugene
RW - Zul
ST - Is
ST - Jeff

Two short halves. 1st half, Team A are leading 5-2. 2nd half, switching sides, Team B came back and won 8-7.

For Team A, Winston was commanding in defence. Winning balls. Chinese uncle just stand there. Trying to intercept. Wee Zheng and his low passes. Improving very slightly. Tony returns after a long absence. Can tackle the ball. Alex with wide range of passes. Controlling the team. Nicholas another complete midfielder bossing the midfield. Uncle Justin complete the threesome who dominate the middle. How did Team B overcame that? Ah San using his experience as holding striker. Responsible for their goals. Daniel was there as a support role. He needs to know positioning.

For Team B, Tang Yao did well as keeper. Saving many shots. I switched from left-wing to defence. I did score with a header! Shyong Ming another brilliant show as defender. He is vital for our future. Keith on the wings. Have to pass the ball more. Eugene also came back. Muscling the midfield. Zul is dangerous. Joining us is one of the best decision in his life. Malay guy Is with his stinging shots. He's part of our plan. Jeff is a striker who goes back and defend. He is a nice guy even when in pain when being kicked.

MAN OF THE MATCH: Shyong Ming. Team B have one less player. Yet we came back from 5-2 down and won 8-7. Winston for Team A left at half-time. Look who's there to capitalize? Q-S covers Shyong Ming when he moves forward. He is our Player of the Year.

Buangkok FC Training 1 November 2014

We started off with a mini match. Ah San's son and his very young friend had a runout with us.

Then we played 2 matches. First match I played defender. Second match I played goalkeeper.

I can list out those played in departments...

Goalkeeper

Tang Yao - Never give up this time. Wants to save all balls.

Q-S - A lot of shots when I play keeper. With one kick from me, defence turn into attack.

Defender

Q-S - If there are many options in front of me, I can deliver the killer ball.

Kang Xiang - Has speed and stamina. Should be on left-back.

Xavier - Most skillful. Very valuable asset.

Shyong Ming - Has found his best position. In the middle of defence.

What? Still shortage of defenders?

Midfielder

Alex - Our consistent performer.

Wee Zheng - Scored his best goal against me.

Nicholas - The complete midfielder.

Striker

Ah San - Wealth of experience. Spreads the ball well.

Daniel - He needs to be taught.

Malay Boy #1 - Can dribble and score.

Malay Boy #2 - Very lethal.

Is - Bullish. Very powerful shots.

Zul - This guy is dangerous. Lighten up now that he joined us.

Jeff - Another performer. Runs around a lot.

MAN OF THE MATCH: The 2 Malay Boys. They are arrogant but back it up with stylish goals.
