After a fruitful mini match, 6 Malay boys whom we knew threw the gauntlet. Another match with them. Winston decided to join them. Daniel was forced. I was forced.
Apparently, none of you all would like to lower your pride and be by their side for only one afternoon.
Buangkok FC
GK - Tang Yao
CD - Cher Siang
CD - Kang Xiang
DM - Shyong Ming
CM - Wee Zheng
CM - Alex
CM - Uncle Justin
LW - David
ST - Ah San
In the 1st half, the Malay boys surprised everyone by taking the lead. 1-0. I was playing as goalkeeper for them. Uncle Ah San equalized through a header from a corner. 1-1. Alex tucked in the ball far from my reach to make it 2-1. Ah San stuffed in another header 3-1. Malay boys pulled one back 3-2. End of half.
In the 2nd half, Winston switched places with me. I was playing as a defender. Malay boys equalized quickly. 3-3. Then Buangkok FC grabbed the lead again 4-3. Malay boys showed composure to level 4-4. Malay boys again went up 5-4. Only to be pecked down again 5-5. I suggested to end the match as a draw. But all would like to continue.
One unbelievably accurate long ball from me, a Malay boy brought the ball down, laid down for another and Malay boys stole the lead. That's the final score. 6-5 to Malay boys.
The Malays are well-informed that a fall-out Q-S had to play for the opposing team. Q-S is not a kelong, was not a kelong and will never be a kelong.
MAN OF THE MATCH: AH SAN. This man I repeatedly say defy the logic of smoking and fit for his age.
